Hi there, my name's Jim Balchin and I'm a Freelance Web Developer based in the Bristol/Southwest area of the United Kingdom. I love building engaging, standards compliant websites and web applications using CakePHP.

Employment history

I have over 7 years experience working in a commercial environment (both agency and corporate). I most recently worked for Focus New Media in Bristol. Over the 3 years I worked at Focus I was involved in many high level projects for local authorities, third sector organisations and corporate clients.
