Available for employment on a permanent, contract or freelance basis, I am an experienced PHP/MySQL web developer with excellent programming and graphic skills. I have 4 years experience developing Intranet applications and web sites within a commercial environment. At present I am undertaking freelance work for various companies. Mainly database-related site development incorporating back end applications, content management and administration control panels. My most recent project has been an email service provider web site written in PHP. Utilising dynamic SSL encryption via BASH commands to securely pass sensitive data to the sites payment service provider. Availability checking of allowed email addresses was achieved using a central MySQL database and REGEX. Mail accounts are created once payment notification has been received using BASH commands. Also a back end control panel has been written allowing the site administrator to manage mail accounts and view re subscription information. Type and validity checking has been employed on all passed variables for security. Webmail is provided using Horde-IMP and also full POP/IMAP & SMTP access is available to users. Hosted on a Linux Fedora Core VPS server running Apache 2. I am a very enthusiastic, hard working and dedicated individual. I thrive on technical challenges and learning new technology. I work equally well alone and as part of a team. I have good practical, communication and organisational skills. |
